NEIC holds its Annual Awards Dinner in April

The American Institute of Chemists (AIC) annually awards certificates of achievement to senior undergraduates and/or graduate students who demonstrate an outstanding record of achievement, ability, leadership, and character. To honor these undergraduate and graduate student awardees, the New England Institute of Chemists (NEIC) presents the certificates to them at the NEIC Awards Dinner held each spring.

In January, the national office of the AIC asks for nominations.  Our schedule for the award dinner coincides with that of the AIC request for nominations. Therefore, we request that you submit your undergraduate and/or graduate nomination on two forms as follows:

  • to the national AIC office on the form provided by their office including the $40 administrative fee before March 31, 2010.
  • to the NEIC Students Award Chairperson, Dr. Jerry Jasinski, Department of Chemistry, Keene State College, Keene, NH 03435-2001 on the NEIC Student Award Nominee Information Form.  Please send this to him before March 31, 2010 even if you do not have a nominee for this year. The AIC will send the award certificate to NEIC for presentation at the Awards Dinner.

The NEIC Awards Dinner will be held at Brandeis University on April 22, 2010.  Link to the Dinner schedule and directions to Brandeis.  Download a reservation form here.
